Shabbat Ba-Bayit

Shabbos Kum Sitz

Hanging out on Shabbat

We schedule three regular services per month. On the weekend we don't have services, we will offer the experience of coming together as a community for candle lighting, blessings over wine and bread, dinner (please see our Kashrut policy) and a program to enjoy Shabbat together. We will rotate locations and program hosts/hostesses.

We anticipate that many of our members will offer to host a "Hanging Out" evening, as this is a wonderful way to usher in the Shabbat Queen when we are not davenning!   Future programs might include singing, dancing, story-telling, poetry writing, or whatever unique ideas the host/hostess has for welcoming the Sabbath.

Unless otherwise stated, dinner will be at 7:00pm, and the program will begin at 8:15pm.

DATE              LOCATION

Nov. 24            Toby Greenwald's home

Dec. 29             the home of Mike & Amy

Feb. 16              the home of Erv & Laura Walter
