Kol Ami Bookstore

Welcome! In association with Barnes & Noble and Amazon, the NVRC Bookstore offers books about Reconstructionist Judaism, Reconstructionist prayer books,other Jewish books, and books recommended by the NVRC Book Group and other members. If you purchase books from either Barnes & Noble or Amazon through the NVRC website, NVRC will receive a portion of the purchase price. We choose our vendor based on the availability and price of each book. Most titles are offered through Barnes & Noble, so books offered through Amazon are noted as such.

Each book listed in the NVRC Bookstore is linked to the book's information page on bn.com or Amazon.com. Once you are there, you can get more information about the book and, if you wish, purchase it. If you'd like to buy books that we do not have listed here, simply search either Barnes & Noble or  Amazon to find what you are looking for. NVRC will also receive commission on the purchase price when you buy something you find through our searches. In addition to books, Amazon offers DVDs, videos, and many other products.

If you are a member of NVRC or another Reconstructionist congregation or havurah, you are eligible to buy books published by the Reconstructionist Press at a 10% discount when you buy directly from the publisher. We can not offer that discount here since our retail associates do not offer it, but by purchasing books from the NVRC Bookstore, you offer financial support to our congregation. If you would prefer to purchase directly from the JRF, their publications catalog is available online at http://www.jrf.org/.

To recommend a book for inclusion in the NVRC Bookstore, please e-mail BookClub with the following information:

• Your name
• Title of book
• Author's name
• Book ISBN
• A brief statement indicating the book's topic and why you recommend the book to fellow NVRC members
