Shabbat Service led by Ann Metlay. Service will be held in the Activity Room. Please check the list for last minute changes.

Ann Metlay will lead a Poetry Service. This might be the last time she conducts such a service before leaving the area. Our parsha will be Eikev (Deuteronomy 7-12-11-25) in which Moses, as a part of his farewell speech to those moving on to the “Land of Milk and Honey” explains why he and the other elders cannot come along. For our discussion, we will consider times in our own lives when we did something that prevented us from getting something we felt we deserved.

We plan a combination of service and conversation about how to use Elul as prep time to make the High Holidays truly a time of moral inventory and spiritual repair.
