JEWISH MEDITATION
Elat Chayim: The Jewish Retreat Center continually revitalizes and transforms contemporary Jewish life. Our mission is to be a resource and retreat center for the development, experience and promotion of a comprehensive contemporary Jewish spiritual practice that helps seekers in their quest to be aware of the constant presence of the Divine in all aspects of life.
Shalom Within™ offers a series of yoga, relaxation and meditation classes and workshops designed to create and cultivate a sense of Shalom--Peace. All Shalom Yoga classes are designed to teach participants how to relax the body and mind while engaging the spirit.
Jewish Chanting Meditation Circle: Beginning February 7, 2007, Laura Lippman will lead a Jewish Chanting Circle. . Chanting is a simple and deeply satisfying spiritual practice that opens our hearts to the heart of the teachings of our tradition. Laura Lippman is in the Kol Zimrah Chant Leaders Institute with Rabbi Shefa Gold at the Elat Chayyim Center for Jewish Spirituality.
