Hebrew School Volunteer Dates

Parents:

Below is a list of all the class dates thru June ’07 and the dates you are signed up to volunteer. Note that everyone is volunteering about 3-4 times thru the year. If you will not be able to be the volunteer on a day you are assigned, please be responsible to find a replacement. 

 The volunteer tasks are:

1)      Be present for the whole class time (5 – 6:30 pm).

2)      Bring 2 challah.

3)      Set up for the rituals (grape juice, challah) to happen at about 6 pm. Please get a key to the KA closet (in the room we usually do services) from Mike or Erv. Please gather small cups, napkins, challah board and cover and grape juice. Bring these items into the library or another room (other than a classroom). Set them up, be ready for the kids to come in.

4)      Volunteer to help Mike Jawer and Erv Walter as needed/requested.

5)      Clean up – the classrooms, the area where the ritual items were enjoyed. Put all extra papergoods and other items used back in the closet. Make sure the closet is locked and return the key to the respective teacher. 

6)      At the end make sure that each child has gone off with their respective parent.
